The Cape Eye Hospital was Cape Towns first private eye hospital and takes pride in it's dedicated, specially trained staff, advanced state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified team of experienced ophthalmologists. In 1993 four Bellville located Ophthalmologists, Drs Louis Boezaart, Hubrecht Brody, Johann Slazus and Paul Burger, decided to initialise a joint venture and build the Cape Eye Hospital. This was to be a specialized hospital. Joining forces they were able to afford the most modern technology in Ophthalmology (Eye Diseases, Eye Surgery and Eye Care) A license was obtained in 1994 to establish the Cape Eye Hospital.
