Inaugurated on July 19, 2002, it was completely thought-out and designed to offer the best medical attention possible. Its great location within “Urbari”, a pleasant residential neighborhood of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, offers the tranquility and quietness needed for a prompt recovery.

History

The Center of Fertilization “Santa Cruz” opened in September 1992, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. It is our goal to provide a solution to couples with sterility and infertility problems. We were one of the first teams in our country to introduce In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and sperm and embryo cryopreservation programs.

We were the first in our community to accomplish a pregnancy through IVF. Since 1993, after having the first satisfactory pregnancy in Bolivia using this technology, 96 babies have been born, of which 33 were males and 63 were females.
