DESCRIPTION
Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur, comprises a 330-bed tertiary care hospital and a separate Medical Office Building (MOB) accommodating consultants of various specialties  and sub-specialties for outpatient services. The MOB comprises 110 specialists consulting suites, a 180-seat auditorium on the top floor with a retail pharmacy, a bank and a cafe the ground floor. Specialists practicing in the MOB are independent practitioners. We are located in 286 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur and commenced operations on 1 August 1996. Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre Kuala Lumpur was officially opened by YAB Dato' Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamed, Prime Minister of Malaysia on 16 December 1997.

In 2007, yet another milestone was achieved when Reader's Digest crowned GIMC as The Most Trusted Brand under the hospital category of the Trusted Brands Awards.
To further add to our accomplishments, Gleneagles Intan Medical Centre clinched an award in the Marketing, PR or Promotional Project category at the 6th Annual Asian Hospital Management Awards 2007, with its entry entitled 'How Far Can We Stretch A Brand: A New Marketing Approach in Health Care'.
