Our Institution is nationally and internationally recognized. Awards such as the “Troféu Ouro,” granted by the Program of Productivity Quality and the international accreditation Joint Commission International are manifestations that confirm the efficiency and efficacy of our service.

Last January we were once again mentioned as one of the most admired hospital institutions in Brazil by the magazine Saúde Análise 2009 – The Most Admired in Medicine. Hospital Moinhos de Vento is among the best in the world, being the first hospital in the south of Brazil to be certified by the Joint Commission International (JCI) a North-American organism that already evaluated over 20 thousand institutions in the USA and more than 50 in the world. The commission of JCI came to Hospital Moinhos de Vento to evaluate over 300 standards to be fulfilled in 11 functions.
