DESCRIPTIONClinica Nacional, (as originally known) initially a10-bed facility with one operating room, one delivery room and a small newborn unit, opened on July 9, 1973 in a small location on Avenida The hospital exclusively provided Gynecology & Obstetrics services, thus came quickly to be known as "Clinica de la Mujer". To sustain its growth to 25 beds, the hospital moved to a larger location on January of 1980. Years later, in September of 1994 "Centro Médico Nacional" opened its doors, a state-of-the-art Medical Office Building, that houses 110 specialists. Finally, on August 20th, 1998 the new hospital facilities were was inaugurated. It is a brand new, modern building located on Avenida Cuba between 38th & 39th Streets in Panama City and it is now known as Hospital Nacional. HIGHLIGHTSList of Specialities and Departments:
