The first private hospital in Austria and the affiliated healthcare and nursing school have been certified.

Quality has always been top priority for Rudolfinerhaus. This was confirmed at the end of 2007 by receiving the company-wide certificate according to ISO EN 9001:2000. The certification was conducted by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) - a renowned and internationally active certification company based in Switzerland. During the certification, procedures and processes were analyzed, their actual state identified and a target state defined. A comprehensive quality management handbook, which clearly specifies the quality policy as well as important procedures for the hospital and the healthcare and nursing school in terms of their targets, processes and responsibilities, is an end result of this procedure.

The Rudolfinerhaus is a private Belegspital, (that is, a hospital to which patients may bring their physician of choice, who remains in charge of the patient’s care), looking back on more than 125 years of tradition in premium medical services and nursing care.
