We verify: JCI, ISO, or equivalent national accreditation status, licensure with the relevant national health authority, facility details and services claimed, and international patient services capabilities. How Surgeon Information Is Verified

Surgeons listed on SurgeryPlanet undergo credential verification. We verify: medical license with the national medical council, board certification in claimed specialties, and absence of active disciplinary actions. How Cost Estimates Are Handled

Cost estimates provided through SurgeryPlanet are based on information supplied by partner hospitals. They represent all-inclusive treatment package prices at the time of quoting. How Medical Tourism Guidance Is Reviewed

Our medical tourism guidance — including planning guides, recovery information, safety checklists, and procedure-specific content — is reviewed to ensure it: reflects current understanding of medical tourism practices, includes appropriate safety warnings and disclaimers, does not make outcome guarantees, and clearly distinguishes between factual information and general guidance. All recovery timelines include explicit statements that recovery varies by patient.
